Lone Star Percussion

Editorial content and event coverage that grew a music retailer's audience — and its traffic.

The role

As Media & Marketing Specialist for one of the country's leading percussion retailers, I developed product-focused content strategies across social, the company blog, and YouTube — and collaborated with the e-commerce team to turn that content into store awareness and sales.

Content that moved product

The engine was bi-weekly long-form content — gear guides and editorial for the blog and YouTube — built to grow Instagram and Facebook following 20% and lift web traffic from Instagram 69%. I collaborated with e-commerce to promote product initiatives and drive awareness of the Dallas and Fullerton retail locations.

On the ground

Beyond the studio, I planned and managed on-site social coverage for industry events including TMEA and NAMM — capturing the gear, the artists, and the community in real time to keep the audience engaged between editorial drops.
